About John Moore Entertainment

John Moore Entertainment is owned & operated by John Moore. We have been in business since March of 2007. We were formally J.A.M. Entertainment. I got the idea of starting a mobile dj business after I married my wife Ausha. Our dj was not the best of dj's but he was not the worst of dj's. He did not meet with us prior to the event and he never gave us any paperwork to fill out so basically we were left to figure everything out on our own. Once the event was over I was watching our videos and told my wife that there has to be a different way of doing business that what he did. So I started searching the internet and found a vast majority of the dj's do exactly what he did but there was a growing number of dj's that poured their heart and soul into being a good reception dj and then becoming a master of ceremonies. So I decided I would buy some equipment and try it out for myself, I figured that I really couldn't do much worse then him so why not. I did my first reception and everything went great. They had no clue they were my first clients and still don't to this day. But something was not right, I wanted to be the best. So I started searching more and found ADJA a organization for disk jockeys. So I joined the ADJA and went to a conference in Chicago, IL and that really opened my eyes and that is were I really fell in love with this business. I am now striving to become a full time mobile dj and hopefully by the end of 2010 I will be able to accomplish my goals. I am always striving to be better and become one of the best.
